Borough Councillor for Grosvenor Ward and member in Crewe North, Tony Crawford said, "David was my agent when I was first elected and he gave me a great deal of help in running a winning campaign and getting to grips with being a Councillor."I have always been impressed with David's commitment to the area and, as a fellow trade unionist, his commitment to improve the lives of working people.
"David shares my passion for the National Health Service. He was at the forefront of the campaigns against Tory cuts at Leighton Hospital, when he worked for Gwyneth. I know that as our candidate and MP he will continue campaiging for more investment and better services."
