Unite the Union backs David

David said, "As a former Unite member and shop steward at Rolls Royce and Bentley Motors and on Crewe Bus Station, I am grateful for the support of Unite the Union.

"Whilst working for Gwyneth I worked closely with Unite reps and members supporting campaigns for jobs at major employers in the constituency, including Bombardier, Leighton Hospital and Bentley.

"I have worked with the Unite representatives on the Labour Party’s National Policy Forum. I was part of the TULO team negotiating with Government Ministers on a joint trade union programme for the manifesto, including key policies on supporting UK manufacturing, protecting public service workers and promoting trade union rights."
